Ken Frost and Gail Vance, with
their two year old son, Callum and his grandparents, Ken Frost Sr.
and Sheila Frost, comprise Dovecote Llamas and Alpacas. On a small
acreage in the Okanagan we have much interaction with our herd. |
| Female alpacas that arrived with numbers
only, now know their names. Cria come for morning kisses and some
of our llamas, which head our public relations department, attend
parades and fairs in the area, giving an opportunity for us to share
the excitement surrounding these wonderful animals. |
 |
| Few investments enrich your life like llamas
and alpacas. Opportunity for business in breeding stock and in the
products generated, combined with their easy temperament, make farming
these animals most enjoyable! Our son heartily approves. |

Our Business
|
| |
The word Dovecote describes a Medieval house for doves,
with many compartments. Our business has many compartments which branch
out much further than our farm. Construction, film work and the garment
industry all play a part in the company, exotic livestock provided
the catalyst to return to our roots… rural living.
The future holds promise. Our business goal is not only to provide
excellent animals, products and customer service, which is rather
hard to find these days, but eventually offer to purchase the fibre
from the animals we have sold. Dovecote’s garments and home
accessories will need the fibre!
